Write This Second gathers five fierce, phenomenal, spiritual, women of color to share our urgent, illuminating, authentic poetry and stories for Beast Crawl. Our diverse tribe of women warriors will leave listeners filled with insight, empathy, and inspiration.

Bel Poblador lives, loves, and creates in San Francisco. She received her Writing MFA from CalArts and is TAYO Literary Magazine’s managing editor. Bel is a rock that holds the ocean.

Coke Tani

Coke Tani is a writer, dancer and facilitator whose work unearths broken intimacies under patriarchy and erotic transformation through its opposite. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from CIIS.

QUEEN D

QUEEN D, aka Danee Black is an honest, reflective, healing, teacher/artist/poet. 

This fierce SF State graduate is a 2 time Golden State Grand Slam Champion, who currently lives in Oakland, CA.
