Red Light Lit is an art and literary journal that explores love, sensuality and sexuality in the form of poetry, prose and song.

Jennifer Lewis is the editor of Red Light Lit. She received her MFA in creative writing from San Francisco State University in May 2015. Her fiction has been published in Midnight Breakfast, Transfer Magazine, Fourteen Hills Press, and Sparkle and Blink.

Fisayo Adeyeye is an MFA candidate at SFSU. His poems have been featured in Little River, Potluck Magazine, and Have U Seen My Whale. His favorite type of bird is the peregrine falcon.
Lara Coley
Lara Coley is a San Franciscan Francophone and casual linguist with a wicked cackle. A former editor and English teacher, Lara is pursuing an MFA in Poetry at SFSU. Her writing and artwork appear in Rogue Agent, Australia’s Visible Ink Anthology, Opium Magazine, sPARKLE & bLINK, and Transfer, with forthcoming work in New American Writing and Red Light Lit.
Andrew Paul Nelson
Andrew Paul Nelson’s poetry isn’t like anything else in America. His poems are all recited by memory, like songs, but they’re longer and more layered. Kar Johnson
Kar Johnson is a writer and thinker living beyond the binary. Their work has appeared in Transfer, Uno Kudo, and sParkle + bLink, among others. Kar lives and works in San Francisco. Chad Koch is a founding editor of Foglifter Press and Journal. His work has most recently appeared in The North American Review and Sparkle & Blink. He is a 2016 fellow at The Grotto in San Francisco.
Tara Rose is a genderqueer, San Francisco-based poet who often writes about love. Her works have been included in Quiet Lightning, Plunge Magazine, Red Light Lit, and Writing Without Walls.
