Scarlet Tanager Books: Writing That Soars
|
Event Description
Four award-winning authors published by Scarlet Tanager Books, an Oakland-based press, will read from their work. Their poems and stories, informed by diverse cultural backgrounds (Polish, Irish, Jewish, and Oglala Sioux), celebrate, mourn, wrestle with the past, imagine the future, and create new mythologies. This is writing that soars!
